Be Strong: Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean beef (I use 96% lean, you can use lean turkey too)
- 2 cups marinade (I like Bertolli tomato and basil) if you dont use this add some fresh basil or dried (1Tbsp) for a nice basil taste
- 1/2 medium onion, diced
- 2 cups 2% cottage cheese
- 28g Parmesan
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 110g Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese
- 6 oven ready lasagna noodles
Directions
- Preheat over to 350 degrees. spray an 8x11 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Brown lean beef in a skillet with diced onions. Drain when fully cooked
- Add marinade to the beef and onions and then set aside.
- In a medium bowl mix together cottage cheese, parmesan and Italian seasoning.
- In your baking dish we’ll layer the noodles and 2 different mixtures.
Layering is…
- 1/3 marinade mix (bottom of the dish, try to have it more marinade than meat)
- 3 noodles
- 1/2 cottage cheese mix
- 1/3 marinade mix
- 3 noodles
- remainder cottage cheese
- remainder marinade
- mozzarella cheese.
Baking:
- Cover with tinfoil. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove tinfoil and bake for the last 10 minutes
- Let cool down and Enjoy!
